Bounty's Select-A-Size Goes On Tour, Cleaning Up America's Biggest Messes

Partnering with Travel Channel Star Adam Richman, Bounty Cleans Up Everything from Texas-Sized Barbecue Messes to College Football Tailgates

CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Bounty's Select-A-Size is going on tour to demonstrate how one small sheet can stand up to tough, big-sheet messes. Beginning this October, Bounty is teaming up with Adam Richman of Travel Channel to show how you can use less with the smaller, but powerful picker upper. No stranger to messy meals, Richman and the paper towel brand will be pitching in and cleaning up some big messes at food festivals, tailgates and parties across the nation.

Bounty and Richman kicked off the tour this weekend, by cleaning up some of the nation's biggest messes at the State Fair of Texas. Armed with a roll of Select-A-Size, Richman scoured the nation's largest food festival in search of foods worth the mess. Richman and a panel of Bounty fans, saw everything the fair had to offer--from fried jambalaya to deep-fried PB&J sandwiches and judged them based on how messy they were to prepare and eat as well as how tasty they were. In the end, Butch Benavides from Benavides Nachos was awarded the title of "The Tastiest Mess in Texas" for his signature dish, Fried Bacon Cinnamon Roll, which is made of gooey cinnamon, crispy bacon and loads of powdered sugar.

Following the stop in the Lone Star State, Bounty will be heading west to take part in the official tailgate party at the 2013 Rose Bowl Game on New Year's Day. Then, it's off to an electrifying cooking competition during Miami's Carnaval Celebration, March 2nd - 5th.

"If you've been in as many kitchens, and around as many saucy, delicious meals as I have, you learn that creating and eating food can be a really messy business - and you quickly learn the value of an effective, affordable cleanup," said Adam Richman. "I'm really excited to take Bounty Select-A-Size on the road and show people how they can get so much more out of one single sheet in your home."

Thanks to "trap & lock technology", one sheet of Bounty's Select-A-Size absorbs, holds fluids and locks in messes, making it 50% more absorbent ( *vs. Leading Ordinary Brand 11" x 8.8"). To prove to food fanatics the strength of one sheet, Select-A-Size Clean Crews will be on-site tackling the biggest messes at the festivals - wiping up spills and messes along the way. Product demonstrations will also be on-site, bringing to life the absorbency and strength of each small sheet of select a size, as well as other engaging activities for attendees to enjoy.

"We're on a mission to show the versatility and strength of a single sheet of Select-A-Size," said Laura Dressman, Communications Manager for Bounty Paper Towels. "We are going to notoriously messy events, demonstrating how Select-A-Size can truly tackle anything and proving that you can use less so that each roll goes even further."
