FarmVille Big Windmill: Everything you need to know
We've finally reached the end of our rundown of the four new building projects in FarmVille, as the Ferris Wheel, Bumper Cars and Big Barnyard offer players a chance to win free Turbo Charges, Mystery Darts and Raffle Tickets. What better way to end this massive event in the game than with an item that will allow us to win Unwithers? That's exactly what the Big Windmill does, and we're here with a complete guide to building one on your own farms, thanks to Zynga.
As with the other building projects, this one can be "purchased" from the store for free, and it definitely earns its name, coming with a base that might force you to clear some room before you can ever place it. Once you've placed the Big Windmill, you'll be left with nothing but a large hill of land that must be built up over five stages. Each stage requires different amounts of Windmill Blades, Wooden Cogs and Wooden Shafts, which are earned by asking your friends to send them to you. Specifically, the Windmill Blades are earned by posting a general news item on your wall, asking your friends for help. The other two items are earned by sending out individual requests to your neighbors. Here's a breakdown for each stage and what you can expect along the way.

12 Wooden Shafts

16 Wooden Shafts

Remember, if you're having trouble earning these items on your own, always be on the lookout for friends news posts that might offer you freebies along the way. Unfortunately, none of the building materials for any of these four items are available in special delivery boxes, so if you're still having trouble after exhausting all of these options, your only other option would be to purchase the ingredients with Farm Cash. Still, there's no time limit for completing these building projects, so feel free to take as much time as you need to keep it free.
Once you've completed the Big Windmill, you can collect from the building once every 24 hours for a chance to win Unwithers. If you already have Unwither Rings on each of your farms, these boosts are obviously worthless as your crops can never wither, but for everyone else, they're incredibly valuable tools that we can truly never have enough of.
