FarmVille Big Barnyard: Everything you need to know
Of the four new building projects in FarmVille, including the Ferris Wheel and Bumper Cars, the Big Barnyard is perhaps the least useful of the bunch due to its lackluster prize that you'll receive at the end. Still, this building arguably belongs the most on our farms simply because of its appearance. If you want to build a Big Barnyard of your own, you can now "purchase" the base from the store for free.
After you place the base, you'll have a hefty building project ahead of you, as you'll need to collect dozens of Troughs, Barnyard Shingles and Slop Buckets to actually complete the Big Barnyard's construction. There are five stages to complete in this entire Big Barnyard, and regardless of the stage, the Troughs are earned through general news posts placed on your wall. Meanwhile, the Barnyard Shingles and Slop Buckets are earned through individual requests sent to each of your friends. Here's a rundown of the different requirements for each of the five stages, thanks to Zynga.

Once you've completed the Big Barnyard, you'll be able to collect from it once every 24 hours for a chance to win Raffle Tickets. Again, this prize isn't that desirable, since Raffle Tickets can already be earned in bulk by simply asking your friends to send them to you, and you won't be guaranteed to win anything in FarmVille's weekly raffle even if you have dozens of tickets to enter. Still, if you look at this Big Barnyard as more of a decoration than anything else, it might still be worth building.
