Seminal Achievement in Cable TV Advertising Gets Nod for 64th Annual Technology & Engineering Emmy Awards; Winners to Collect at CES Show in January
ACTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- SeaChange International (NAS: SEAC) , a leading global multi-screen video software and services innovator, proudly announced today that it has won its third Technology & Engineering Emmy® award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS).
SeaChange, along with Cisco, DEC, Harmonic, Motorola and SkyConnect, was notified by the NATAS Technology and Engineering Achievement Committee that the companies have won the Emmy for the "Development and Commercialization for Digital Infrastructure for Local Cable Ad Insertion." SeaChange's early technologies automated multichannel advertising delivery, helping the cable television industry to grow locally inserted advertising into a multi-billion dollar business.
Winners will accept their Emmy statuettes during the 64th Annual Technology & Engineering Emmy Awards ceremony at the 2013 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January.
