IHS, leading industry and policy experts will provide insights into the future for the U.S. and global economy, energy policy, defense and national security, and more
WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- IHS, Inc. (NYS: IHS) , the leading global source of information and analytics, on November 13-14 in Washington, D.C., will inaugurate the IHS Forum featuring IHS experts and industry and policy leaders on the economy, energy and natural resources, chemicals, aerospace and defense, automotive and construction.
"Over the years, IHS has brought together an unmatched concentration of insight and expertise from a community of economists, analysts and researchers, and the IHS Forum is our opportunity to present that broad array to our clients in one setting," said IHS President and Chief Operating Officer Scott Key who will provide opening remarks and launch the inaugural event. The World Economic Outlook Conference, Stress-Tested: Political and Economic Systems under Pressure, will focus on the U.S. economic outlook and ramifications of the November 6 presidential and Congressional elections, the future of the Eurozone, the impact of political change on China's growth, and the challenges facing emerging markets.
The IHS Herold Pacesetters Energy Conference, Winning Strategies in a World of New Opportunities, a client-led executive conference and networking event brings together leaders from innovative "Pacesetter" companies along with hundreds of oil and gas executives, capital providers and investors. The conference will discuss the need for a shift in energy company strategies to accommodate new opportunities in the marketplace brought about by the resurgence in exploration and production (E&P) activity.
