The Great California ShakeOut Earthquake Drill is the largest earthquake drill in the U.S., with over 8 million people across the state of California participating last year alone. The ShakeOut's goal is to help Californians prepare for major earthquakes and learn what to do before, during and after an earthquake.
|At 10:18 a.m. on Oct. 18, 2012, millions of people in schools, businesses, government agencies, stores, public venues and homes will participate in the ShakeOut.
