CBC's CEO Retires

LAFAYETTE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- California Bank of Commerce (OTCBB: CABC) announced that effective today, John E. Rossell III, President, CEO and Director, has taken early retirement, having accelerated by approximately 4 months a previously announced plan to step down in February, 2013.

The Board of Directors has appointed John E. Lindstedt as interim President and CEO. The Board is well into their search process which commenced earlier this summer.


Mr. Lindstedt has served as the Bank's Chief Credit Officer and Member of the Board of Directors since 2007. Prior to joining the Bank, Mr. Lindstedt served as President of CivicBank of Commerce from 1994 to 1999, and later as Vice Chairman of that bank from 1999 to 2001. Well respected in the commercial banking industry, Mr. Lindstedt spent 26 years with Wells Fargo Bank, culminating as the Senior Lending Officer of Wells Fargo's Corporate Banking Group.
