ASCC Targets theBiggest-Selling Spirit in Beverage Industry

MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- As the Aristocrat Group Corp. (OTCBB:ASCC) works to build its new brand management division, Aristocrat Brands, the company announced today that it will focus on the distillation and distribution of America's best-selling spirit: Vodka.

ASCC has targeted the distilled spirits sector because it is a large, diverse market with broad appeal unlimited opportunities for partnership, sponsorship and brand awareness activities. Thanks to more than 500 years of development, vodka has become the most vibrant and competitive product in the distilled spirits sector.

The market for the white liquor is especially immense in the U.S., where it's estimated that as many as 60 million cases are sold each year. Here, vodka dominates the market at all price levels, accounting for more than a quarter of all spirits sold.

ASCC plans to capitalize on America's love affair with vodka by exclusively promoting beverages branded "Made in the USA."

"Despite the incredible popularity of vodka in the U.S., none of the premium brands market themselves as 'America's Vodka,'" said ASCC CEO Cindy Morrissey. "This represents a tremendous market opportunity, and we are fully committed to filling this potentially lucrative niche in the industry."

Elite global investors, including Warren Buffet, also recognize the growth potential in the domestic vodka market. In recent years, McLane, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway, has invested in domestic liquor distributors in Tennessee, Georgia and North Carolina.

ASCC views vodka as key growing its brand management business to compete in a highly profitable sector alongside Limited Brands, Inc. (LTD), Proctor & Gamble (PG), New York & Company, Inc. (NWY) and Chico's FAS, Inc. (CHS).
