StubHub Announces Interactive Mobile Seat Maps

World's Largest Ticket Marketplace Becomes First Entertainment Ticketing Company to Offer Interactive Venue Seat Maps on a Mobile Device

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- StubHub, the world's largest ticket marketplace, announced today that it is the first entertainment ticketing company to launch interactive venue seat maps on mobile devices. The integration will improve the buyer experience by merging StubHub's onsite experience with their mobile applications and mobile web services. Through these new features, fans will be able to browse for tickets by section, see the range of ticket prices in that section and view photos of sight lines, all from StubHub's various mobile services.

Immediately, football fans will be able to view mobile interactive seat maps through StubHub's mobile web application for all 32 NFL teams with view from section functionality. The new maps will improve the buyer and seller experience by having these maps available to assist StubHub customers purchasing through that platform. Mobile interactive seat maps will soon be available across all genres and mobile platforms.

"This is long overdue, and we're excited to be extending the same great StubHub experience our customers have grown accustomed to on their computers, to their mobile devices," said Ray Elias, Chief Marketing Officer at StubHub. "We have millions of StubHub buyers sorting through thousands of ticket listings on their mobile devices, and that can be pretty cumbersome on a fraction of the real estate. Our interactive maps will dramatically improve this experience for fans."

Recently, StubHub increased their mobile offerings through an iOS 6 mobile app integration with Apple Passbook. This allowed fans the option of storing event tickets they purchased on StubHub in Apple Passbook, and using their phone as their ticket into events. The first two teams that StubHub has integrated into Apple Passbook were two of its Paciolan integrated partners, University of Texas and Purdue. A full suite of partners are expected to be announced in the coming months.

The StubHub interactive seat maps on mobile will be supported on Android 4 and iOS 4 and above.

StubHub's application is available on all iPhone, Android and Windows devices and can be downloaded through the App Store. More information on StubHub and tens of thousands of events can be found at www.stubhub.com.
