Kansas EMS Certificate Renewal Application Now Available Online

Kansas Board of Emergency Medical Services offers an enhanced online certificate renewal option

TOPEKA, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Kansas Board of Emergency Medical Services now gives EMS attendants and Instructor Coordinators the opportunity to renew their certification online.


New features include the ability for Attendants with an Instructor Coordinator license to renew both certifications at the same time, as well as the opportunity for employers to pay for their employee's certificate renewals. The new application accepts both electronic checks and all four major credit cards.

The online renewal process may be used by any EMS attendant or Instructor Coordinator, unless the following apply:

  • It is more than 30 days past your renewal date,

  • You have not met continuing education requirements,

  • You have been convicted of a felony
