THORNTON, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Ascent Solar Technologies, Inc. (NAS: ASTI) , a developer of state-of-the-art, flexible thin-film photovoltaic modules, announced today the initial sale of SOLab Basic and SOLab Premium products, as branded by Ascent's joint development partner, CTC CarTech Company.

SOLab is an autonomous solar charger meant for automotive battery cycling & trickle charging. The innovation of integrating Ascent's industry leading thin-film CIGS solar modules into SOLab Basic and Solab Premium products is the first of its kind application for automotive battery charging solutions.
