Wayne Allyn Root Named Chief Executive Officer and Director

ST. GEORGE, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Strike Axe, Inc. (OTCBB: SKAX) today announced it has appointed a seasoned entrepreneurial veteran and nationally recognized media personality and sales/marketing/branding expert to strengthen its management team and add to its leadership as the company continues to gain market traction in the Nutritional Enhancement and Supplements Industry.

Wayne Allyn Root has joined in the role of Chief Executive Officer and Director, and reports to the Board of Directors. In this position, he is responsible for corporate vision, national and global branding, strategic partnerships, cultivating key distribution channels, and creating strategies that expand Strike Axe's distribution of nutritional supplements. Root, a national media personality and spokesman for multiple companies, as well as a fitness and vitamin enthusiast, will serve as a spokesman for Strike Axe, as well as create, produce and host online advertising and video campaigns.

Root has over 20 years of national media experience. He is a former anchor, NFL Analyst, and host of five shows for Financial News Network (now known as CNBC). He has created, produced and hosted multiple television shows- including hit shows on Spike TV and Travel Channel. He has created, produced and starred on multiple TV infomercials airing on the largest cable TV networks in America- including Fox Sports Net, Discovery, Superstation WGN, Spike TV, USA TV Network, Comcast Sports, and PAX TV. Those infomercials produced hundreds of thousands of callers. He has directed multi-million dollar marketing, branding, and advertising campaigns on national TV and radio for over 20 years.

Wayne, a former Libertarian Presidential contender and the 2008 Vice Presidential nominee, is today one of the top media personalities in the political world, and as such he has made several thousand TV and radio appearances since 2008. He is a regular guest on hundreds of radio shows annually, and makes frequent appearances on TV networks such as Fox News Channel, Fox Business, CNBC, MSNBC, CNN, Sun News Network (Canadian national TV), and Russia Today TV (24-hour English-language Russian TV Network).
