Pioneer Trail Help a Soldier: Everything you need to know

Updated

In keeping with the recent theme of soldiers and pen pals in Pioneer Trail, it's time for us to do our part in helping a soldier in need (virtually, that is). Private John has been injured, and we'll need to build a place for his family to stay so that they can be near him while he recovers. This is accomplished via the appropriately named "Help a Soldier" goal series, which we're here to help you finish off. Here's a look at these new goals, straight from Zynga.

Training Trouble

  • Heal 2 Injured Black Deer

  • Gather 10 Clover Clusters

  • Click on the Right Sideboard "What is this?" Item

The Clover Clusters are earned by harvesting cluster. For the sideboard step, you'll need to click on the item outside of your homestead to interact with it. For finishing this first goal, you'll receive 500 XP, 1,500 coins and a Sleeping Donkey.

Home for a Hero

  • Heal 3 Injured Stag

  • Harvest 19 Aloe Vera Crops

  • Finish Phase 1 of the Home Project

The Aloe Vera is found on the game's free gifts page, but since this isn't the first event to use it, you might also have some in your inventory ready to go. When you complete this goal, you'll receive 1,000 XP, a Dinner and two Shaggy Llamas.

Fixing It Up

  • Craft 3 Springy Beds

  • Gather 9 Comfy Rugs

  • Finish Phase 2 of the Home Project

The Comfy Rugs are earned at random when tending Shaggy Llamas. Luckily, you just received two for finishing the previous goal. As for the Springy Beds, you'll need to collect Bed Springs (tend Steel Forges) and Bed Legs (ask friends) before you can create them. You'll receive 1,500 XP, five Lavender crops and five Soothing Serums for finishing this goal.

Help for a Hero

  • Help Mrs. Stubby

  • Gather 29 Medicinal Tea

  • Finish Phases 3 & 4 of the Home Project

The Medicinal Tea is earned at random when tending Lavender crops. You just received some in the last goal, but you can also send and receive some via the game's free gifts page. You'll receive a Lumber Tree Serum and Stubby Pup for completing this goal, and will also unlock a boost of Doc dropping healed animals. Good luck finishing all of these goals on your Homestead!
