Pan American Bank Co-Hosts "Access to Capital" Seminars for Small Businesses

EAST LOS ANGELES, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Pan American Bank (OTCBB: PAMB) today announced that it will co-host a series of "Access to Capital" seminars for small business owners. The "Access to Capital" seminar hosts include Pan American Bank, Congresswoman Grace Napolitano, Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard, California Assemblymember Gil Cedillo, The Los Angeles Chapter of The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE-LA), The Lincoln Heights Chamber of Commerce, VELA, EastLA Works, The Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce, The Bell Gardens Chamber of Commerce, The Whittier Merchants Association, The East Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, and Keeping It Local. The seminars, provided in both English and Spanish, are part of Pan American Bank's technical assistance program for small business owners.

"Over the past five years small businesses in our community have had a difficult time accessing capital due to a combination of lack of credit availability and lack of awareness of available programs. The large number of elected officials and business organizations supporting this seminar series evidences the need for this type of technical assistance," said Pan American Bank CEO Jesse Torres. This seminar series is intended to assist small business owners in successfully navigating the path to capital acquisition and growth."
