Pioneer Trail Burning Up Goals: Everything you need to know

While you may have already built a Fire Station on your Homestead in Pioneer Trail, that doesn't mean your land is entirely safe from forest fires. Unfortunately, we're learning this the hard way, as flash fires have begun sprouting up all over the land! It's up to you to complete a new series of "Burning Up" goals to put out the fires, save some poor critters that have been hurt by the blazes and even complete a new Fire Wagon that can be used to tend fires while on the go. We're here with a guide on completing these Burning Up goals, straight from Zynga. Let's get started!

Flarin' Up

  • Place the Fire Wagon

  • Tend 25 Adult Pigs

  • Locate and Extinguish a Flash Fire


Each Flash Fire takes six buckets to extinguish. You can earn these buckets of water by asking your friends to send them to you or by purchasing them with Horseshoes. You'll receive 150 XP, a Sumac Tree and a Lunch item for completing this first goal.

Too Close to Home

  • Extinguish 3 Flash Fires

  • Tend 10 Ripe Sumac Trees

  • Finish Phase 1 of the fire Wagon


Flash Fires are frequently found when tending Brass and Steel Forges and rarely from tending debris. If you're looking for extra Sumac trees, you can find extras on the game's free gifts page. You'll earn 250 XP, a Critter Salve and a Sergeant Stubby for finishing this quest.

Flashin' Fires

  • Tend 1 Sergeant Stubby 10 Times

  • Heal 4 Burnt Bunnies

  • Finish Phase 2 of the Fire Wagon


Rewards: 500 XP, 5 Corn Ready Boosts, Firehouse Kitten

What a Blast

  • Locate & Extinguish 6 More Flash Fires

  • Tend Firehouse Kitten 10 Times

  • Finish Phase 3 of the Fire Wagon


Rewards: 750 XP, Dousing Barrel, Fireman Calendar (used to complete the Fire Wagon)


Feel the Burn

  • Harvest 40 Aloe Vera

  • Put Out 8 Flash Fires with the Fire Wagon

  • Harvest 80 Corn


You'll of course need to finish the construction of the Fire Wagon before you can use it to put out fires. When you finish this quest, you'll receive two Fire Mystery Crates, a Crazier Cake and will unlock the "reduced flash fires" perk, which will apparently reduce the amount of Flash Fires you find at random when playing the game.
