(NYS: DOLE) has launched the "Cheer in the New Year" Facebook sweepstakes.Thesweepstakes will reward one lucky DOLE fan with a trip for four to cheer on DOLE's 2013 Rose Parade float and watch the 2013 Rose Bowl. Just as the DOLE float, entitled "Dreaming of Paradise," beautifully depicts the tropical paradise of Latin America, the trip is a dream come true for those who have always wanted to experience the iconic Southern California New Year's Day celebration.
The winner of the DOLE "Cheer in the New Year" sweepstakes plus three guests will escape the cold weather of the other parts of the U.S. for a four day trip to sunny Los Angeles from Dec. 30, 2012 to Jan. 2, 2013. In addition to airfare and accommodations, the prize includes four tickets to the Rose Parade to see the boisterous marching bands and breathtaking floats travel down the parade route, as well as four tickets to watch two of the best college football teams fight to become the 2013 Rose Bowl Champion. A total of 800 DOLE Facebook fans will win a pin honoring this year's parade so that they can cheer on the DOLE float in style.
