Sterlite Industries (India) Limited; 80 MW CPP at Tuticorin Synchronised
TUTICORIN, India--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Sterlite Industries (India) Limited announces that the first 80 MW unit of its 160 MW thermal power plant at Tuticorin has been successfully synchronised on 30th September 2012. The power from the first unit will be predominantly used for captive consumption at its Copper Smelter operations at Tuticorin.
