Frontier Communications Launches Mobile Products With AT&T
Wireless Voice and Data Product Is Now Available in Selected Markets to Frontier Customers
EVERETT, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Frontier Communications Corporation (NAS: FTR) , the largest provider of communications services focused on rural America, today announced that customers in select markets can enjoy mobile voice and data services that encompass a broad assortment of AT&T smartphones and access to AT&T's mobile broadband network.
"Frontier customers in Everett, Bothell, Lynnwood and Redmond can now bundle AT&T wireless service with Frontier products and receive a significant monthly bundle discount," said Don Banowetz, President of Frontier Mobile & On-Network Video. Cellular data plan overage charges are no longer a worry, according to Banowetz. "By using their Frontier Home Wi-Fi with their cell phone, smart phone or tablet — instead of using their cellular plan data — they save and save. And when they want to use wireless data, they now have access to a great network from AT&T. It's a win-win for customers."

In November 2011 Frontier and AT&T Mobility announced a three-year agency agreement which complements Frontier's robust portfolio of broadband, voice and satellite TV services. The agreement offers Frontier customers the benefits of AT&T's mobile broadband network and a wide array of wireless devices and applications as part of a Frontier bundle, all on a single bill from Frontier.
Frontier customers who subscribe to AT&T's wireless services will enjoy access to AT&T's more than 29,000 Wi-Fi Hot Spots in the United States. Frontier's broadband, voice and Internet services will continue to be supported by the company's locally-based technicians and 100 percent U.S.-based workforce.
