OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Werner Enterprises (NAS: WERN) , a premier transportation and logistics provider, has been named to the InformationWeek 500 list that recognizes leaders in innovative business technology. The award was announced at the 2012 InformationWeek Conference and Awards Gala in September at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort, Dana Point, Calif.
A panel of editors from InformationWeek determines the list of 500 based on points earned from the application process and achievements as outlined in essays submitted. Those companies on the list must demonstrate a pattern of technological, procedural and organizational innovation.
