CityVille Super Hood: Everything you need to know

Updated

If you've got at least three Neighborhoods full of homes in CityVille, you'll you can now save even more land space by storing those neighborhoods inside a new Super Hood. That's right, these Super Hoods will allow you to store three Neighborhoods inside, for a total of 45 homes in a relatively small space within your town. The base of the Super Hood can be placed via the "Next Door Neighbors" goal, as seen below.

Next Door Neighbors!

  • Upgrade the Super Hood to Level 2

  • Have 3 Neighborhoods

  • Harvest 100 Berries

The Berries can be either Wild Huckleberries or Yellow Berries. Meanwhile, the base of the Super Hood can be built with 12 energy. After that, you'll need to collect 48 building materials to actually finish it off. You'll need eight each of Fiber Optic Cables, Chocolates, Sewing Kits, Chimneys, Hair Dryers and Bathrobes. These items are earned through the expected combination of general news posts placed on your wall and individual requests sent to friends.

When you complete this first stage, you'll be able to store a single Neighborhood. By upgrading the Super Hood two more times, you'll unlock storage slots for two more Neighborhoods. At Level 3, the Super Hood can be harvested for 30 energy, rather than the 45 energy that you would have spent if you harvested all three individual neighborhoods before storing them.

If this Super Hood goes over well (and we imagine it will), we wouldn't be surprised to see additional "Super Hoods" released in the store, including those that might store businesses or community buildings. We'll make sure to let you know if that ends up happening, so stay tuned!
