Town of Speedway Accepts Credit Cards and Electronic Checks

SPEEDWAY, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- For the past year, the Speedway Town Hall and Police Department have worked in partnership with NIC affiliate, Local Government Online (LoGO) Indiana, to process electronic payments within their offices using LoGO Indiana's Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliant Payment Processing Solution.

"It is great to offer an alternative payment method to our citizens. We can now accept credit/debit cards or electronic checks in our offices for over-the-counter payments including licenses, permits, violations, and accident reports," said Sharon Zishka, Town of Speedway Clerk-Treasurer. "Being able to offer LoGO's services to accept payments is convenient and improves Speedway's customer service; it was especially helpful around race month when out-of-town vendors required permits to do business with Speedway."

In working with LoGO Indiana, the Town of Speedway is able to provide the added convenience to its citizens by accepting the following forms of payment: MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express and electronic checks.
