Career Education Chairman, President & CEO Steven H. Lesnik Joins APSCU Board of Directors

SCHAUMBURG, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Career Education Corporation (CEC) (Nasdaq: CECO) , a global provider of postsecondary education programs and services, today announced that its Chairman, President and CEO Steven H. Lesnik has accepted an appointment to the Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities (APSCU) Board of Directors.

Lesnik is actively committed to education, having served as Chairman of the Illinois Board of Higher Education, as a visiting lecturer at Northwestern University, and as a Director of the Illinois Math & Science Academy Foundation.
