Poelker Will Discuss Data Protection and How to Prioritize IT Recovery Operation Services

Poelker will discuss the importance of disaster recovery (DR) planning, how to effectively protect data and ways to prevent costly IT downtime.

Poelker's presentation, "Optimizing Disaster Recovery and Data Protection in the Cloud," draws upon his decades of experience as well as his recent position as a deputy commissioner of the TechAmerica Foundation Commission on the Leadership Opportunity in U.S. Deployment of the Cloud (CLOUD²). He will discuss the value of data protection for virtualized, physical and hybrid environments and how to prioritize IT recovery.
