ManTech Awarded Contract to Provide Mission Support Services to DISA's Test and Evaluation Executive Office and Joint Interoperability Test Command

FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- ManTech International Corporation (NAS: MANT) was awarded a contract on August 3, 2012 by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to provide support services for test and evaluation (T&E) missions at DISA's Test and Evaluation Executive Office and at the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC). The indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, multiple-award contract was awarded to seven companies and is valued at $871 million with a one-year base period and four one-year options.

"For over 20 years ManTech has provided broad T&E support to JITC, resolving specific joint and combined interoperability issues and conducting service-managed developmental, operational, and interoperability T&E activities," said Wallace Ricks, ManTech senior vice president and JITC program manager. "Since the first joint exercise in 1995, we have completed over 15,000 interoperability tests and participated in deployments around the world, including Iraq, Bosnia, Somalia, Haiti, and post-Hurricanes Ike and Katrina."

Under this follow-on contract, ManTech could perform a wide range of services encompassing testing, scientific, engineering, logistic, administrative, and ancillary support of the DISA T&E missions. The services could include all support aspects, including the operation and maintenance of the test tools, labs, networks and infrastructure, and administrative support cells. The work will be performed at DISA and JITC facilities in Fort Huachuca, Ariz., and Indian Head and Fort Meade, Md.

"The complexity of today's battle space makes the T&E mission an important one, and DISA and JITC testing and interoperability evaluations are key to ensuring an integrated response," said Louis M. Addeo, president and chief operating officer of ManTech's Technical Services Group. "ManTech has long supported JITC and we are excited to continue our work in this important area."
