David Seaton and Alan Boeckmann Receive Prestigious North Texas International Involvement Award
IRVING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Fluor Corporation (NYS: FLR) announced today that the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth awarded Fluor's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer David Seaton and former Fluor Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Alan Boeckmann with the organization's H. Neil Mallon Award at a dinner honoring the Fluor executives on September 28, 2012.
"The World Affairs Council is proud to celebrate David and Alan with this year's H. Neil Mallon Award for their dedicated involvement in helping make the Dallas/Fort Worth region a hub for international business and global involvement," said Jim Falk, president and chief executive officer of the World Affairs Council. "Since Fluor relocated its global headquarters to the DFW area from Southern California in 2006, David and Alan have served as models for how senior executives should get involved and positively impact the communities where they live and work. Recipients of the H. Neil Mallon Awards have been selected by the World Affairs Council for their notable achievements in promoting the international focus of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Presented annually, the award is named for H. Neil Mallon, the late chairman of Dresser Industries, who founded the World Affairs Council in Dallas in 1951. Past Recipients of the Mallon Award have included: Stanley Marcus; Trammell Crow, Sr.; The Honorable J. Erik Jonsson; Ray L. Hunt; Lee R. Raymond; Ross Perot and Ross Perot, Jr.; Randall Stephenson; and President George H. W. Bush.
