Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Receives $1.8 Million of Orders for Solid-State High-Power Amplifiers

MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Oct. 1, 2012--Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NAS: CMTL) announced today that its Santa Clara, California-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology Inc., received orders from a domestic integrator totaling $1.8 million to supply a suite of solid-state high-power amplifiers ("SSPA's") to support U.S. military tactical SATCOM applications. The orders were for a range of power levels in the C-, X-, and Ku-bands, and provide users with the ability to access both military and commercial satellites around the world.
