Bally Technologies Announces Agreement with Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation to Launch New Wide-Area Progressive Jackpot Link
Company to provide branded games along with WAP link
LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYS: BYI) , a leader in slots, video machines, casino-management, interactive applications, and networked and server-based systems for the global gaming industry, today announced an agreement with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. (OLG) to supply its progressive system technology and award-winning slot machines to create a $1 million wide-area progressive jackpot (WAP) link.
OLG's link - MIGHTY MILLIONAIRE - will initially be offered on about 90 games at 19 different gaming venues across Ontario beginning this month. OLG awarded Bally Canada the project following an RFP process to replace and refresh the previous jackpot link.
Some of Bally's most popular games will be featured on the new link, including well-known licensed brands Michael Jackson King of Pop™ and Betty Boop's™Fortune Teller, as well as Money Vault™, Cash Spin Jackpot™, and Golden Pharaoh™.
