HickoryTech Increases Quarterly Cash Dividend

MANKATO, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- HickoryTech Corporation (NASDAQ: HTCO) today announced that its Board of Directors voted to declare a quarterly dividend of $0.145 per share of HickoryTech common stock, representing a 3.5 percent increase from the previous $0.14 per share dividend. The $0.145 dividend is payable on Dec. 5, 2012 to shareholders of record on Nov. 15, 2012.

"We are pleased to declare an increased quarterly dividend, the third dividend increase since 2010 for HickoryTech," said Dale Parker, chairman of the HickoryTech Board. "We are confident in our ability to continue to generate strong cash flow and are pleased with our progress implementing our strategic plan."


HickoryTech has paid a cash dividend to shareholders for more than 60 years.
