SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- GTSO Resources, the mining subsidiary of Green Technology Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB: GTSO), will join its partners and consultants at MINExpo 2012 this week to seek out exciting new opportunities in the booming global mineral mining industry.

MINExpo in Las Vegas is the worldwide meeting point for mining equipment, products and services, featuring a wide range of innovations and industry experts. Executives representing GTSO will attend educational forums tackling pressing issues facing the industry and network with other rising stars in the mineral excavation and recovery sector.

The primary mission is to screen game-changing products, services, and companies to meet development and operational plans for GTSO's traditional and urban mining objectives.

"MINExpo is a terrific opportunity for us to explore new opportunities to collaborate with major players as well as up-and-comers in the mining industry," said GTSO CEO Paul Watson. "Thanks to the healthy growth in our sector across the globe, we're very excited to learn new ideas and best practices that can help us achieve our financial and operational goals for GTSO Resources."

Alongside the company's joint venture partners, Diamond V Associates, GTSO is analyzing surface samples now in preparation to begin excavation at the most promising of its target sites.

In addition, the company is in talks to partner with or acquire urban mining operations in North and South America in order to capitalize on the rise of e-waste recycling services worldwide.
