Command Security Responds to Letter of Inquiry

LAGRANGEVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Command Security Corporation (NYSE MKT: MOC) (the "Company") is in receipt of a letter from a union advisory group, published by that group in the form of a press release, inquiring about the Company's disclosure in its most recent proxy statement that certain Section 16(a) reports made by its directors and executive officers had not been timely filed. While the Company's board and management are open to and appreciative of shareholder input and views, the union advisory group in question does not itself appear to be a shareholder and has not identified any shareholder on whose behalf it is acting. Nevertheless, we take this input seriously. The Company discovered the missing filings when it recently undertook a comprehensive review of Section 16(a) reports of its executive officers and directors. Following discovery of the missing filings, the Company's directors and executive officers promptly filed the required reports as described in more detail in our proxy statement. We want to assure our shareholders that our board and management are firmly committed to good corporate governance and to enhancing long-term shareholder value.
