NTRR Seeks New Ways to Defeat Alcoholism

TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Alcohol addiction is one of the deadliest and most destructive diseases plaguing society the world over, and Neutra Corp. (OTCBB: NTRR) is seeking out new, effective ways to eliminate addictive urges.

How dangerous is alcoholism? According to drug information from the American Council for Drug Education (ACDE), approximately 10-15 million people in the U.S. alone can be classified as alcoholics. About 4.5 million of them are adolescents.

Alcohol dependence will affect 17 percent of men and 8 percent of women at some point in their lives. For many, the results are devastating: The Center for Disease Control (CDC) reports that 79,000 deaths annually are the direct result of excessive alcohol consumption. It's the third leading lifestyle-related cause of death in the country, and the leading cause of death for people aged 15 to 24. In 2005, excessive alcohol caused 4 million emergency room visits and 1.6 million hospitalizations.

"According to stats from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), alcohol abuse costs the United States over $235 billion each year," said NTRR CEO Michael-Shane Henderson. "A significant percentage of that money goes directly to treatment of alcoholism. NTRR has set milestones to bring effective, leading-edge treatment options for this disease to market.

"The market potential for a product capable of helping to end alcoholism is nearly incalculable," he said.

With help from others, NTRR plans to help deliver to market a holistic approach to eliminate cravings. For more information on NTRR's efforts to develop potent remedies for common afflictions, please visit www.neutracorp.com/investors.html.
