Konami Gaming, Inc. Finalizes License Agreement with Paltronics
Enables Konami to Offer a One-Stop Shop for Fully Integrated Casino Management with Progressive and Media Management
LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Konami Gaming, Inc., a leading gaming technology provider, has forged a license agreement with Paltronics, whereby Konami will be able to offer Paltronics' One Link 3E Suite of Progressive, Bonusing and Media Management products with the Konami Casino Management System (KCMS) and Konami's extensive catalog of games products, announced Steve Sutherland, chief operating officer at Konami Gaming, Inc. "This new agreement is a game changer because Konami and Paltronics are leaders in the gaming industry and this cooperative agreement will allow casino operators to benefit from the best products and practices of both companies."
"Paltronics has long been regarded as the premier supplier of Progressive and Media Management solutions, so integrating our capabilities into those of Konami provides operators with a true enterprise solution for both Konami's system and game products," said Angelo Palmisano, president and chief executive officer at Paltronics. "This licensing agreement creates an opportunity to introduce products into the Konami portfolio of products that are tightly integrated, operate seamlessly, and greatly enhance both Konami's systems and games product offerings."
Yuji Taniguchi, vice president of research and development for games at Konami Gaming, Inc., explained, "This license agreement provides our games designers with the ability to design games with 'no winning combination required' progressives using Paltronics' must-win-by progressive technology. This adds a level of excitement and thrill for players since the progressive jackpot could hit at any time."
