Frank Sinatra's NYC Penthouse (Inside Look)
"I want to wake up in the city that doesn't sleep and find I'm king of the hill, top of the heap," crooned Frank Sinatra in his classic 1979 recording of "New York, New York."
Turns out that he was top of the heap, alright! The infamous, glass-walled "Birdcage" where Sinatra entertained, slept and recorded his songs was literally built on the roof of the luxury co-op building at 530 East 72nd Street in Manhattan. When we popped in for a visit, our jaws dropped looking at the 360-degree view. See for yourself in the video above!
