QuadWinkowski Rebrands to Quad/Graphics

Change reinforces Quad/Graphics as a global brand and reflects QuadWinkowski's status as a premier printer

WYSZKÓW, Poland--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- QuadWinkowski, one of Central Europe's largest commercial printers and a subsidiary of U.S.-based printer Quad/Graphics, announced today that it has rebranded itself to Quad/Graphics. Concurrently, Winkowski Logistics will change its name to Quad Logistics Europe.

The rebranding creates uniformity across Quad/Graphics' global print-production platform, which consists of more than 50 plants in nine counties on three continents. It also reflects the company's world-class production and distribution capabilities, and service expertise in Europe.

In recent years, Quad/Graphics has made significant investments in its people and platform in Poland to strengthen and expand its offering, and position itself as a leading European printer and employer. The company operates numerous sheetfed and web offset presses in a variety of cutoff lengths, complemented by a wide range of finishing equipment, giving customers maximum flexibility. Quad/Graphics is rapidly developing its media solutions offering in Europe, which will give customers the ability to drive enhanced digital experiences from print.

With the rebranding, the company's legal name for corporate and legal matters will be Quad/Graphics Europe Sp z o.o.

Quad/Graphics established its print-manufacturing presence in Europe in 1998 when it purchased a minority interest in Winkowski Sp z o.o. In December 2007, Quad/Graphics acquired a majority interest in Winkowski Sp z o.o., later changing the company's name to QuadWinkowski. In January 2009, Quad/Graphics became the company's sole owner. Quad/Graphics Europe is now one of the largest printers in Central Europe. Headquartered in Wyszków, Poland, the company provides digital imaging, web offset and sheetfed printing, finishing and distribution services for a wide variety of magazine publishers, catalogers, direct mail marketers and retailers. It also prints packaging, including consumer-goods packaging, point-of purchase displays and in-store signage, through its IMC division located in Radzymin, Poland.
