FarmVille Haunted Hollow opens ghoulish grounds to paying players

Got 35 Farm Cash? If not, you probably wish you did right about now. For that premium, Zynga will let you sow some seriously spooky seeds in FarmVille's latest (and sixth) expansion, Haunted Hollow. You'll also need to be Level 15 or higher, but we're sure that you have that minor detail covered by now. Luckily, Zynga has provided a glimpse at what 35 Farm Cash, or about $6, will get you earlier than most.

Haunted Hollow introduces players to three witch sisters: Lillian, Belinda and Rose. They also happen to be mayors of this farm town, but they need your help with transforming Haunted Hollow into something more appropriate for the arrival of the droves of trick-or-treaters come Halloween. Of course, players will be well rewarded for their efforts.

As players plant and harvest a host of new crops, they'll earn points toward unlocking special decorations and animals, like the Frankenhorse, Chickenpire and Creaturefish. Early adopters will also have first dibs at the first in-game FarmVille photo contest. Players are asked to take their best screen shots of their version of Haunted Hollow and submit them to an in-game community gallery. From there, you can vote on which you think are best.

Oh yeah, and paying players will also score a free Spooky Lantern Tree. Don't want to fork up the Farm Cash? Then you'll just have to wait until Sept. 24. We'll see how long you can hold out for.
