Colonial Life launches new mobile app for customers
Policyholders can now check claims information and policy details any time, anywhere
COLUMBIA, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Colonial Life policyholders can now access claims information and policy details from their Apple devices with the help of a new mobile app. The free download enables policyholders with iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices to quickly check on the status of their claims, view policy information and access information currently available to them through the company's policyholder website. In addition, they can use the app's agent locator feature to find the Colonial Life representative closest to them and can use the app to communicate with a customer service representative. Customers can also access a Frequently Asked Questions feature for help.

"The ability to check on the status of a claim at any time can reassure our customers — especially when they're waiting to pay medical bills and other expenses from an accident or illness."
Policyholders can download the "My Colonial Life" app by visiting the Apple iTunes store. Users must have Apple's iOS 5 software to run the app and must register on the company's policyholder website before using the app.
