Ever wanted to play the role of movie set director? Here's your chance (sort of): An 18th century harbor in Charlestown, England, which has been featured in movies such as "Alice in Wonderland," "The Three Musketeers" and "Treasure Island," has hit the market for a little more than $7 million.

Besides being used as a set, this harbor is also a popular tourist destination, known for its tall ships. The $7.1 million price tag includes two beaches, an ancient tunnel, an ice cream parlor and numerous other buildings.

The current owner, Robin Davies, said that he is selling the land because he is retiring.

"It is a vibrant little village and a spectacular place to live, and we think this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for someone," Davies told the British newspaper, The Telegraph.

Local businesses hope that the new owner keeps the harbor as it is.

"I personally want to see the tall ships remain there," a local councilman, John Oxenham, told BBC News. "They are a huge part of the attraction of Charlestown, and the surrounding properties all rely on this, the film industry included."

If you are only interested in purchasing part of the area, Davies has divided the property into three separate lots. The first, at $2.4 million, includes the harbor and a number of businesses. Another lot, for the same price, is 2 acres of undeveloped land. And the third, for $2.25 million, is a marine training center and charter business, and it includes two tall ships.

Is buying harbors your thing? Check out a Norwegian submarine base or, for the less ambitious, there's a lighthouse in Sag Harbor, N.Y.
