CastleVille Pondsy Scheme Quests: Everything you need to know

Updated

Just as Alastair's mentor Sal has work for us to complete in CastleVille, so too does Alastair have his own set of quests for us to finish, that go back to Sal's appearance in the game. These "Pondsy Scheme" quests will see you searching for Sal's old home, and we're here with a guide to finish them off, thanks to Zynga. First things first though, there's a standard quest that you'll need to complete before unlocking the Pondsy Scheme quests themselves.

In Search of Sal's Pond (A Fishous Cycle)

  • Explore the Gloom

You'll be expanding out into a very dense portion of the gloom, complete with a swamp, dead trees and a torch. When you complete this quest, you'll receive 2,500 coins and 50 XP. Now we can move onto the actually Pondsy Scheme quests, which become available after this point.

Once Upond a Time

  • Have 2 Chickens

  • Clear 3 Grass

  • Explore the Gloom

Rewards: Quantum Sweep Spell, 2,500 coins, 50 XP

Uprooting the Problem

  • Prepare the Quantum Sweep Spell

  • Dragon the first Rustic Pond

The Quantum Sweep Spell will allow you to transfer roots from one place to another, and it requires items like Aquamarine, Feathers and Shells to create. You'll earn 2,500 coins and 50 XP when you complete this quest.

To the Gloomy Pools

  • Explore the Gloom

  • Craft 1 Gravy

  • Drain 1 Rustic Pond

  • Craft 2 Fishing Bait

  • Cast the Unsink Spell 3 Times

The Unsink Spell allows you to enchant your ponds so that you'll be able to collect building materials and other ingredients from them instead of being forced to ask your friends for these same items. You'll earn 2,500 coins and 50 XP for finishing this final quest in the series, and will be able to use these spells afterwards whenever you like, so long as you have the ingredients available to cast them.
