The time has finally come for you to send hapless roller coaster fans careening to their deaths from your pocket ... and in 3D, no less. (Come on, don't act like you didn't back in the day.) RollerCoaster Tycoon is headed to Nintendo's 3DS this fall, thanks to developer n-Space and publisher Atari. Slated to land on Oct. 16, the 12-year-old classic will come back with some new tricks.

Players that are a bit rusty or just want a bit of story in their RollerCoaster Tycoon will want to check out the all-new Coaster Story, a blend of tutorial and narrative. You can also get a taste of the coasters you create with a first-person view that will send players through the twists and turns in stereoscopic 3D.

Throw in park editing and creation though stylus controls, sharing your parks through StreetPass and the ability to invite your Mii Plaza friends to your theme parks, and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D just might reignite that old flame once again. You know, as long as we can make our patrons plummet to a fiery death at will. We were ... slightly sadistic children.
