Where U.S. Defense Contractors Are Winning

Global arms sales in 2011 for the U.S. tripled to 85.3 billion, though all other major arms suppliers other than France saw sales declines. Overall, 78% of global arms sales were from the U.S. in 2011. That's good news for U.S.-based defense contractors such as Lockheed Martin and Boeing, as these companies increasingly look abroad for revenue with defense cuts already in effect and sequestration looming.
