The Dow is home to some of America's steadiest companies, but there are a few in the 30 that are much riskier than the likes of Coca-Cola or Procter & Gamble.

Fool analyst Anand Chokkavelu, although bullish on the stock, thinks Bank of America is the riskiest Dow component. It's riskier than fellow bank JPMorgan Chase. And while Alcoa has macroeconomic risk and Hewlett-Packard has business risk, those risks are transparent. Bank of America's black box risk isn't. Anand explains in the following video.
