EPS came in at $0.50. The 25 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.52 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.50 for Q2 were 5.7% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.53 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.52 for Q2 were 1.9% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.53 per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 64.0%, 120 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 29.0%, 250 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 24.9%, 80 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
