EPS came in at $0.72. The 14 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.66 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.58 for Q3 were 1.8% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.57 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 51.0%, 60 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 24.9%, 50 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 23.9%, about the same as the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $626.3 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.72.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $2.37 billion. The average EPS estimate is $2.66.
The stock has a five-star rating (out of five) at Motley Fool CAPS, with 84 members out of 89 rating the stock outperform, and five members rating it underperform.
