21Vianet Group Increases Sales but Misses Estimates on Earnings

EPS came in at $0.11. The five earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ averaged $0.12 per share. GAAP EPS were $0.05 for Q2 versus -$0.10 per share for the prior-year quarter.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 28.4%, 160 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 8.4%, 90 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 4.9%, 1,770 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.

Looking ahead
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $62.7 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.12.

Next year's average estimate for revenue is $247.4 million. The average EPS estimate is $0.47.
