CityVille Satellite Dish: Everything you need to know

We're well on our way to completing the Tesla Coil Wonder in CityVille, having already completed the Science Center and Nanotechnology School in our towns. Now, we're ready to build the Satellite Dish, which also goes along the with the Tesla Coil feature. This Satellite Dish serves as a decoration, offering a 35% payout bonus to residences and businesses, but of course, you'll need to actually build it in your town before gaining that function.

The Satellite Dish requires a whopping 50 parts to complete, which are earned through a combination of general news items posted on your wall and specific requests sent to friends. You'll need the following parts to finish it off:

  • 10 Cables

  • 10 Meters

  • 10 Dishes

  • 10 Stands

  • 10 Mounts


Once you collect these items, you'll have completed the construction of the Satellite Dish and will have completed the goal that goes along with it, earning yourself 100 XP in the process. From there, you'll also need to "Master a Business to Level 2" and "Master a Crop to Level 2," with your business options being the Internet Provider or the Web Company, and the crop options being either Flax or Baby Carrots.

Hopefully, you've already grown these crops before, or already have at least one of these buildings in your town to save yourself some work, but either way, there doesn't appear to be a time limit on this entire Tesla Coil feature that would force you to rush to catch up. If nothing else, this simply gives you some long-term goals to complete while you actively work on finishing other tasks in the game as well. Good luck!
