Pioneer Trail Gargantuan Homestead Expansion Goals: Everything you need to know

If you were already excited about the Gigantic Homestead Expansion that has been released in Pioneer Trail this week, then I'm about to really make your day, as a second land expansion has also been launched in the game! The 48x48 Gargantuan Homestead Expansion is available after you've unlocked said Gigantic Homestead expansion, but of course, you'll need to complete some goals before actually receiving the ability to "purchase it" in your game. Here's how to do just that!

Spreading the Word

  • Collect 15 Permission Slips from friends

  • Clear 20 Cacti

  • Craft 10 Beautiful Baskets


Beautiful Baskets are crafted using Wildflower Bouquets and Beautiful Baskets (ask friends). The Wildflower Bouquets drop at random when tending Wild Flowers on your Homestead. You'll receive 250 XP, 250 coins and two fully grown Oak Trees for completing this first goal.

Clear the Path

  • Harvest 35 Coffee Trees

  • Clear 10 Varmints

  • Find 20 Wool Yarn


The Wool Yarn drops at random when tending sheep on your Homestead. You'll earn 500 XP, 500 coins and 5 Marigold Crops when you finish this goal.

Remove Unwanted Visitors

  • Harvest 100 Wheat

  • Craft 10 Boundary Markers

  • Collect 25 Map Coordinates from friends


The Boundary Markers require Spike Poles (drop when harvesting Apricot Trees) and Pink Flags (earned from friends) to create. You'll need lots of each unit to make a single Marker, so this particular goal will likely take you quite a bit of time to complete. When you do finish it, you'll receive 750 XP, 750 coins and a Shaggy Llama.

Providing a Safe House

  • Collect 30 Thick Blankets from Friends

  • Craft 20 Snack Satchels

  • Collect 85 Picnic Food


The Picnic Food will drop at random when tending Pecan Trees on your Homestead. You'll earn 1,000 XP, 1,000 coins and a Cream Cow for finishing this goal.

Get er Done

  • Craft 20 Lookout Perches

  • Collect 5 Daily Bonuses from the Land Offices

  • Tend 150 Oxen


The Land Office might be in your Emporium, so make sure to check there if you don't see it on your Homestead. The Lookout Perches are crafted using Ladder Boards (drop from non-sapling Oak Trees) and Flexible Straps (ask friends). Again, these individual Lookout Perches require quite a few ingredients, so prepare for a long goal when you begin. You'll earn 1,500 XP, a Water Geyser decoration and the ability to unlock the 48x48 Land Expansion when you finish this final goal.

The expansion itself is purchased in the Land Office for 9 Land Grants. Remember, you'll need to have unlocked each and every Homestead expansion before this point to even unlock these goals, so if you don't see these goals appear in your game, it's likely that you have other things to catch up on before beginning. If you have unlocked all land expansions, it could be that these goals have simply yet to roll around to your game, but should in the next few days.
