SimCity Social: Add a touch of luxury to town with new themed items

Updated

The Luxury Living quests in SimCity Social mark a transition in the game from a title that's all about sports to one that's more "refined and classy." Along with these quests that introduce county clubs and swimming pools to the game are new themed Luxury Living items that are available to purchase in the store. We're here with a look at these newly released items, so let's get started!

Local Bank (Business)

  • Costs: 9,000 Simoleons

  • Pays Out: 240 coins every 18 minutes

  • Requires 1 Holiday Snapshot and 1 Plow to build

Elite Swimming Pool (Decoration)

  • Costs: 30 Diamonds

  • Available as final reward in the Luxury Living Quests

  • Population Boost: 54

  • Range: 4

Martini Glass Fountain (Decoration)

  • Costs: 5,200 Simoleons

  • Population Boost: 20

  • Range: 3

Giant Ruby Statue (Decoration)

  • Costs: 28,000 Simoleons

  • Population Boost: 24

  • Range: 3

VIP Golf Range (Decoration)

  • Costs: 24 Diamonds

  • Population Boost: 69

  • Range: 3

These items don't come with a time limit as of this writing, but it's possible that they might suddenly vanish from the game after the timed Luxury Living quests expire (in about 12 days). That being the case, you might want to purchase any items you're interested in now, rather than waiting, just to be safe. Also, while you can see a themed factory in the image above, this is not available to purchase in the store, and instead comes from a timed "Bilderbob Group" quest, which asks you to build the Bank, Martini Glass Fountain and earn Simoleons to complete it.

Stay tuned for more on the Luxury Living event in SimCity Social, as we'll let you know if additional items are added to the theme!
