Gran Tierra Energy Whiffs on Revenues

EPS came in at $0.05. The five earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ averaged $0.12 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.05 for Q2 were 55% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.11 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 76.3%, 940 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 32.7%, 1,480 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 11.4%, 810 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $160.1 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.10.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $638.2 million. The average EPS estimate is $0.31.
