Macquarie Infrastructure (NYS: MIC) reported earnings on Aug. 1. Here are the numbers you need to know.

EPS came in at $0.24. The one earnings estimate compiled by S&P Capital IQ forecast $0.25 per share. GAAP EPS were $0.24 for Q2 against -$0.05 per share for the prior-year quarter.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 37.8%, 120 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 10.2%, 130 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 4.3%, 530 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.

Looking ahead
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $254.6 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.29.

Next year's average estimate for revenue is $1.02 billion. The average EPS estimate is $1.20.
