EPS came in at $0.92. The 10 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ forecast $0.89 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.76 for Q2 were 2.7% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.74 per share. (The prior-year quarter included -$0.06 per share in earnings from discontinued operations.)

For the quarter, gross margin was 37.3%, 50 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 19.4%, 50 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 11.6%, 160 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $929.7 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.83.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $3.74 billion. The average EPS estimate is $3.50.
The stock has a four-star rating (out of five) at Motley Fool CAPS, with 402 members rating the stock outperform and 18 members rating it underperform.
